Mrs. Livi & Ms. McGee’s classes John Adamsl had a special visit from Captain Christian Livi. He spoke about his job as a merchant marine & what kinds of ships he works on. He also spoke about how ships float. The students loved it! #TrueNorthBrunswick #YayJA #GoJaguars 🐾

After reading Molly's Pilgrim, third graders at JA interviewed a family member to learn about their heritage and made a doll to represent their family. They shared their projects with each other, parents, and staff this morning as part of American Education Week! #yayja #truenorthbrunswick

Our Pre-K scientists in Ms. Turner's class explored color mixing doing a Skittles experiment! Students arranged them in a circle and watched as colors slowly spread with warm water.They observed how colors met in the middle without mixing right away, creating a beautiful rainbow. #truenorthbrunswick

New Benchmark workstations in K-3 at John Adams were a hit! They included: drawing animal characters, listening to and sequencing nursery rhymes, story Legos to make a setting & characters to tell our stories, and sorting capital & lowercase letters while practicing their sounds. #truenorthbrunswick

The KickStart Literacy lesson at JA had students unscrambling their names! It was the perfect activity after reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom for our read-aloud. We pretended our names fell off of the tree and needed sorting out! #truenorthbrunswick
