Mrs. Marrone and Mrs. Weissman’s first graders at Judd did a wonderful job writing riddles during Reading Foundations. They used descriptive words as clues and had a great time reading their riddles to classmates, who tried to guess the answers. All of the solutions were words that contained l-blends. #truenorthbrunswick

Ms. Varga's SOAR 4th graders have been learning about the stock market this cycle, and today they learned from one of their own parents — Mr. Gentry! He shared about his career, and how it connects to what we've been learning. Mr. Gentry even 3D-printed stocks and protection pieces for the game he created for us to play! We are so thankful for the learning, the fun, and our deeper dive into the stock market. #truenorthbrunswick

Students at Judd planned and carried out an investigation to determine if plants need sunlight and water to grow. Now we are patiently waiting to see how the plants will be affected when they don't get all the things they need to survive! #truenorthbrunswick

Last week, Mrs. Brooks' Preschool Class at Judd Elementary was able to push some tables together to have a true Thanksgiving Feast. It was full of conversation, fun, food, and laughter. #truenorthbrunswick

Our youngest learners celebrated the holiday all week long! They played "Pass the Turkey" using clothespins, pretended to be turkeys by waddling with balloons, built structures to hide their turkeys and danced to the Turkey Tango! #truenorthbrunswick #EverydayCountsInNBTPK

Mrs. Georgiou's Prek class celebrated an early Thanksgiving feast. We took turns going around the table sharing what we were thankful for and enjoyed lunchtime together. #truenorthbrunswick

Ms. Varga's SOAR school-wide enrichment lessons are all about creative thinking! Students in 4th grade are turning simple spirals and waves into brand- new creations. We love using the SEED lessons from Silverquicken. #truenorthbrunswick

Students in Mrs. Oliveri and Mrs. Lopez's class at Judd School are learning about animal communication. In this lesson we learned how animals use their whiskers to hunt. The other stations they learned how they use their noses and ears. These kits are very hands on and the students love them. #truenorthbrunswick

We had a wonderful visit from one of our parents. She hosted a pretend Pizza Party read-aloud, complete with props to make a pizza as the story progressed. It was truly the best present ever! #truenorthbrunswick

Mrs. Georgiou's Prek Class at Judd created "Thankful Boards" as they get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving. The boards are an opportunity for new family traditions to be introduced. On Thanksgiving, each family member can hold the board as they say what they're thankful for this year. #truenorthbrunswick

This month, Judd students worked on calming skills with Ms. LaValle. Check out these 4th graders creating their coping clementines as a resource they can refer back to when they need to use a healthy coping skill! #truenorthbrunswick

The Judd elementary students are reflecting on what they are thankful for! #truenorthbrunswick
