Students have gained an understanding of Climate Change in NJ by first, watching the Lorax. Then, connecting it to statewide issues in NJ. Students were given scenario cards and categories to sort through and it was a race to finish!

To finish off our thermal energy (heat transfer) unit 8th grade students built "Penguin nests" to protect our ice cube penguins from the heat. Most of our penguins "survived"! Others were not protected enough from the heat and melted too much. #truenorthbrunswick
