Ms. Alvarez's students discussed what a president does, where they live and work, and how they help make important decisions for our country. Each student completed a writing activity about what they would do if they were president. Their ideas were thoughtful, creative, and full of kindness! #truenorthbrunswick

At "Read Around LinWorld," families were able to come together to see the great work their children created, better understand the academic experiences offered to our students, and have some fun and food along the way. We were able to get books into the hands of so many of our Linwood students, making it likely that they will find the joy of reading. #truenorthbrunswick

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Black History Month at this morning's event at NBTHS. A special thank you to Sheriff Mildred Scott for inspiring us with her commitment to opening doors for future history makers! We were joined by BOE members, town council members, county representatives, NCAAP representatives, and AmeriCorp to name just a few! A special thank you to our BCA and POWER student groups and their advisors for organizing the event, and of course to our talented musicians who performed! #truenorthbrunswick

The Middlesex County Chapter of the "Public Safety Alliance For Individuals With Disabilities" A.I.D. program is a voluntary service open to all citizens. The program was created to help police officers and other emergency service personnel to better assist residents with disabilities or special need in the event of an emergency by providing those first responders with vital information regarding a participant’s disability, emergency contact information, a physical description and current photograph of the registrant. The goal of the A.I.D. Program is to ensure all residents who have a disability or special need are able to get the help and support they need in a time of emergency or during interaction with Law Enforcement, Fire or EMS personnel.
