Thank you to NBTHS alum, Mr. Tim Howard, for sitting down with our Mass & Social Media. Students conducted an in-depth interview with Mr. Howard about his time spent in our school community, his professional soccer career, and the work he continues to do with NJ's Tourette Syndrome community. Thank you again to Mr. Howard, and be sure to look out for our students' stories in the next edition of The Banner. #truenorthbrunswick

Students in the class "Dimensions of Prejudice, Genocide and the Holocaust" tackled the tough questions about the refugee crisis that occurred during the Holocaust. Students participated in a spectrum activity where they marked their position on the issue by putting their initials on a line stretching across the board. With a yes and a no on either end, students made their mark and then discussed their position. #truenorthbrunswick

NBTHS students from the class "Dimensions of Prejudice, Genocide and the Holocaust" got the opportunity to see the film "No Place on Earth" shown through the Rutgers Jewish Film Festival. The film told the story of the Stermer Family, who survived the Holocaust by living in a cave in the Ukraine. Students had the opportunity to be part of a Q & A with the producer Chris Nicola. Thank you Rutgers for sponsoring the trip and giving our students this wonderful opportunity! #truenorthbrunswick
